Yeah, I´ve gone through the web to sort out the steering. Gone through the simulation/normal steering modes and adjusted the dead zones. Think was able to get the steering faster, but then the problem was linearity of it. Like you say, the fast is just way too fast - like on controller 1/5 of the travel results as max turn on the game.
Some say its just about learning to drive differently but fail to see what fun can get going through turns when the game itself is determining the lock of the steering wheel "needed". Guess I´m just wenting out as I´m still mad for the devs for ruining my fav console game. (Another was UFC, and the new xbox version is even more crap than forza compared to old versions.) Hate ever buying the damned console.. just a expensive bluray player.
