I already gave my opinion on this in the server while both of you were present But, its very educative for me and others to share opinions and have a debate on these situations. Thanks for uploading RB
I think being extra vigilant in such racing moments is the best course of action. His original line to the turn is squeezing you and your line looks like on a collision course with him and the relative distance is just a car length. He should have pressed Q and check you while preparing for the turn and he was in your sight and you could have backed down a little bit earlier to avoid a possible contact.
No big of a deal both for you and him, but what I do in such cases is that I back down a bit earlier and wait for the guy in front to make a mistake rather than keeping my car in such tight spots especially towards the corners whether i'm inside or outside. Saves my time a lot
A simple sorry from each or even 1 side should suffice in these kind of racing incidents. No need for kick/ban anyone for this kind of racing incident in my opinion.
