Conflict with Kingtudo Fupelo - RB26 - 12-23-2014

Hello Guys.

He began to argue with me that this incident was my fault. And he say that I have enough space on the track. I stand behind my opinion that I do not have any place for any maneuvers. Because he had stuffed a few millimeters in front of my bumper. I think that he was enough of space on right side of the road for turning. So what´s Your opinion guys ? Although I have rights to ban or kick but He´s good driver and i dont want to ban or kick him about this incident (I think unnecessary).

I already gave my opinion on this in the server while both of you were present Smile But, its very educative for me and others to share opinions and have a debate on these situations. Thanks for uploading RB Smile

I think being extra vigilant in such racing moments is the best course of action. His original line to the turn is squeezing you and your line looks like on a collision course with him and the relative distance is just a car length. He should have pressed Q and check you while preparing for the turn and he was in your sight and you could have backed down a little bit earlier to avoid a possible contact.

No big of a deal both for you and him, but what I do in such cases is that I back down a bit earlier and wait for the guy in front to make a mistake rather than keeping my car in such tight spots especially towards the corners whether i'm inside or outside. Saves my time a lot Smile

A simple sorry from each or even 1 side should suffice in these kind of racing incidents. No need for kick/ban anyone for this kind of racing incident in my opinion.

Let's have other opinions Smile

As I can see he only wanted few extra space that you could give him. He was overtake you and unwritten rules is that you have to go as much left as you can. In that case both of you can do faster trough next corner. In case you don't want to follow unwritten rules you have to follow strict rules that say he can get which ever line he wants trough that corner because he was ahead and inside. When I find myself in same situation I go to left as much as I can and if i see he wants to squeeze me i simply back off.
Also if someone will accuse me that i could avoid something i would tell him I need to check replay. After watching video I would tell him  that he is right that i could go more to the left and make more space for him but also that he could avoid that crash if he checked if there was space for him.
About using rights: this is race incident and even if it's only his fault(which i think it's not) he doesn't deserve any punishment.

Well... for me it's clear...

At that time of collision you were behind significantly, but yet, the passing move wasn't complete.
For what I know you could plant that car in the middle of the road and you would not have any obligation to abandon your racing line.
He was too impatient to get back on fast racing line and that resulting in contact, happens.

Check out Redbulls' controversy in Turkey 2010, there's similar case, passing driver forcing a move on passed one, ending in tears...
