The rain was a nice idea, but it's obviously not an effect you can use on anything but a locked-off camera (ie. completely stationary, no pan, tilt, dolly or zoom).

When I was making television ads, we'd spend a couple of weeks on pre-production, then a day shooting the live action, and then work on all of the computer animation and effects (which could take anything from 4-8 weeks, depending on complexity).

At the end we'd sit down and edit it all together, usually completing a 1 minute cut and a 30 second cut in less than a standard work day. And that's with all the compositing included too.

I think what you've done, given a week, is outstanding! I'm really looking forward to seeing more Smile

@Vim - Yeah processing takes forever. Anyone in the UK will have most likely heard of a soap "Eastenders"... When I went to work on set with them I was told they film six weeks in advance for editing, etc. Then they were telling me about how they have trouble in winter with snowstorms etc, because they filmed beforehand there could be no snow, when in reality there is or snow when in reality it's all gone again Tongue

Very interesting, but there's a lot more I can't tell you Smile

The content is almost perfect (that rally sequence @ 0:33 seems awfully quick... like at least 2x speed up) but the image quality is, I must say, truly awful.

If you delivering UHD video please don't make it look like a upscaled SD material (although I saw better upscales than this UHD clip)
There's terrible color leakage, pixelation and compression blur in it... All the greatest hits how not to deliver video.

Seeing it's already at ~20Mb/s bitrate I'd say it's codec to blame.

Please consider using x264 with at least two pass encoding. I don't know what software you're using but either create lossless version of this video first (big file warning!) and then compress it with x264 or set-up proxy file (frameserver) which will deliver uncompressed video to encoder.
If you're scared of commandline there's handbrake to ease the pain ;-)

Before I upload, Prasanth - you confirm that that is the final edit? Nothing more to add or edit?

It looks great as it is for now but just owndering if there was anything else you want to take into account before I go ahead and upload it to AA's channel.
