Here's a simple, yet effective, trick of video postprocessing (I took the liberty of using your video for this example)

...and that's (right side, obviously) only overlayed the same clip with a little blur (the more blur, the more "glowy" effect you get), "SoftLight" mixing operand and 0,4 opacity (the more, the darker, but at 1.0 opacity it just looks plain ugly)

My eyes refuse to show more than dark/bright but dark is better i guess. Afterall you are the expert

I think it's too long now. At around 1:40 when the music has a bridge bit, that's where I'd stop it. The FBM with the GTI's clip is pretty pointless in my opinion, but the crash you use after it would be a nice ending. Where it lands after spinning, if you had a still shot to the side of it, as it drives off, fade to black and that would be a good way to end it.

I agree 100% with Sam. Promo videos shouldn't be any longer than 1:40 IMO.

Length is a funny thing - you don't really need to restrict yourself, unless you're making it specifically for a broadcast time slot. How long is always going to depend on what you want to say. Beginning,middle,end. The hardest bit is finding a song that fits.

If you want to challenge yourselves, try editing to 15, 30 and 60 seconds long - those are standard timeslots for TV ads worldwide. i think you can buy down to 5 seconds on some channels now, but i don't think we should cheapen ourselves.

Seven: 1:40 is very specific  ???  - 7 x 20" is 1:40 ... my average lap in an xrg ... that's all i got

Ok then, heres what im gonna do. I'll remove the AI part and replace it with crash scene and end it or i will remove the ai part with musi orrrrr maybe i will just change the AI clip with some other . Felt it was bit short just now.
