Insult (racism) - HunterHei

Dear AirAttack Team,


I am someone who was racing on your Historic FBM server today, as I usually do. During the race I want to concentrate on, I was texting a friend (helping him with physics homework to be precise.) Now, that is evident of my driving. I get a slightly late start and spin out on the long straight. Due to this, I write "texting and driving dont work". (Don't drive and text at the same time, believe me.) To me, that is a perfectly fine comment to make. Then, HunterHei comes out with: "Dont drive, bomb ppl." 

To me, that is a very racist comment to make. Those 4 words felt like 4 bullets to me. It is comments and people like this who spread hate towards Muslims and this leads to attacks, such as the one at Finsbury park. It is these types of people who we need to deal with in society. I know that HunterHei is a talented racer but RACISM IS NEVER RIGHT.

No matter how talented you are, no matter how famous you are, no matter how rich you are, at the end of the day, we are all part of the human race.

I would like to end on a quote from Nelson Mandela: "No one is born hating another person because of the colour of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite." It is people like HunterHei who spread the hate.

Um, I don't think this is racism - however I understand how you interpreted it that way, what with all the recent events.

Hunterhei said -and I quote- "dont dive bomb ppl". In layman's terms dive-bombing is driving your car as fast as you can in to as many people as you can on the track. It's the most efficient way to get banned for at least a week and aggravate everyone around you. Also, his response to what you said was followed so quickly that I doubt you were the target, but in reaction to the crash at the start of the race. The straights are the easiest places to type messages without spectating - I do it all the time.

I'm intrigued to see what was said after you stated you were going to report him for racism however I can't comment on what I can't see.

Finally, MPR's can't be attached to the forum because of size restrictions. If we hosted all the replays we get reports for, our server wouldbe overloaded and we'd get more bills for bandwidth.

Concluding, I think you misinterpreted the situation which is easily done in the current international climate therefore I won't take any action against HunterHei.

No worries, I misunderstood his message as I didn't understand the drive-bombing concept. My mistake, sorry about that.
Nothing was said after this as I left pretty much as soon as this happened.
