DDS Problem

This is across all cars strangely enough. All my grill spaces are black or gray, but only for the FZ cars it says "Can't open: FZ_Grill - Not a power of two" - What does this even mean?

Nobody else has had this issue on LFS forum. I've restored the original VEH and DDS files and it still happens meaning I lost all my custom interiors anyway and but I don't want to try reinstalling LFS and losing all my settings.

Misc folder and cfg file contain the overall settings with all driver names and controller settings. Why not backup those folders (also setups folder and skin folder if u want) and just reinstall lfs?

P.S. Maybe also try reinstalling just knw folder.

It means that textures must have 'round' (in binary sense) widths and heights
2^0, 2^1.... ans so on... That's why car skins are 1024x1024 (2^10) instead of somewhat more appropriate 1280x1024 so lfs could easily load it and then it's stretched in-game over the car mesh.

Your installation probably got corrupted. Try installing lfs in separate folder (unzip, that exe file is a 7-zip archive) and copy only textures to your old lfs installation overwriting everything (dds and pic folders hold most graphics used in game)

I ran the reinstalled version of LFS, all good that works fine.

When I copy the DDS and PIC files to the old installation that also worked. Time to stalk down all my old interiors and pics and reinstall them
