My lenovo laptop is barely 3 years old and it has already had :
HDD replacement
LCD replacement
Hard reset twice
RAM replacement
OS reinstall
Lenovos aren't exactly great, but i'll put faith in yours since, as you said, it's new. Just hope it doesn't cannibalise its innards like mine within 3 years..
