Hello there,

So today I turned on my PC to find my secondary monitor (Dell) had committed suicide with a white screen. Yes, I've run all the checks and it is truely (f-bomb here)'d. I am in the process of dealing with Dell but I doubt they will be able to do anything as this monitor was made (according to it's Czech label) February 2008.

So I was wondering, does anyone know of a place where I can get a decent 23-inch flatscreen monitor for less than Â?80? Or, has anybody got a monitor which I could buy for less than Â?80? Big Grin

Any help appreciated, thanks in advance!

After speaking with Dell they couldn't do anything but declare the monitor broken and well out of warranty. So after browsing ebay and finding no results, I went to Amazon and bought an identicle OC monitor to balance out my 2 screen setup Smile

Will be interesting to see what LFS is like with 2 screens the same size! Big Grin

If you're up for a challenge you could search for exact the same monitor model but with broken panel for pennies (with working matrix driver though) and try to swap them around. Faulty/burned out driver is the likely cause of white-screen-of-death.

I thought about that, but the back of the monitor doesn't have anything that looks like a model number on the back. Dell have ID codes on each of their products, yeah, who knows where that is. Anyway, my other AOC should becoming today so all good Smile
