Can't login to my account :(

Hey guys,
I could not login to my account (prasanths96) eversince the forum has changed to mybb. I recieve emails without probs but the password that come along with it is not working. I'm kinda struck Somebody help?

Are you sure that you can't login to your account? Because it shows not login my account as well, but when I start clicking different topics & browse through the forums, turns out that I logged in already.

Try to browse different topics etc. If you haven't done this yet, please make sure that mybb considers you as an anonymous guest and not allow you to post anything first.

Prasanth, if you'd like, I can merge 2 of your accounts (your present account and the one you can't login to). But If you hadn't tried browsing the forum to check if mybb still doesn't recognise your old account, please try that first

Try resetting it now. There's a buggy plugin that tries to convert passwords between mybb and any other forum engine but it does not work when you send request via password recovery page and the password generated isn't usable at all as it tries to convert it to the password from previous forum.

I thought I got rid of it, but apparently I haven't. It's gone now, so the password recovery should work and you should be able to log in correctly.

Anyone else having problem logging in from now on will have to recover password and set it via user control panel again. Sorry about that.
