It has been around for a while. 9 years old code this year. Still needs some love. For example you can't change chart type anymore because some code got deprecated. ;D
Answering your question: Yes, unless you pick 'tracks', it's number of players. X axis is time set to UTC.
Worth remembering that if airio is down then there's no new data thus that horizontal line won't be there. But if there's no data for current time of day - it's down. Also it seems there's limited time airio tries to reconnect to lost servers. If it takes too long they may be running but they won't show on this chart as running because airio isn't connected to them.
