Could use some sound dampening though. Some felt cloth or rubber padding under the washers and dab of oil here and there :-)

 
Yes! the throttle pedal need some oil and I'll add something on the hose, maybe vaseline

How about opto-coupler as a hall sensor replacement? 
You just put a LED on the one side, photo transistor/diode/resistor on the other and the gap (elongated triangle shaped) between them, moving with the pedal.

That's interesting, I'll read a more about because I'm a bit tired of the potentiometers... 

How much does this thing weigh? Looks hefty

and comparing the old v1 with the new v2... (weight-> v1 +-5 kg, v2 15 kg )
