I went out and bought PCars because they were claiming it was VR capable - turns out it's not... They've gotten the body tracking completely wrong and none of the menus are viewable while in VR.
On the plus side, it is a beautiful looking game - the day night cycle and weather effects are top-notch - and the physics aren't too bad either - definitely not as arcadeish as some might have you believe, but not as unforgiving as AC (which doesn't really get the physics right either imo).
Multiplayer is a pain, as it only wants to let you join servers in or near your own country, and there's not too many of those in the southern hemisphere. There's a workaround through Steam whereby you can change your profile's country, but I haven't bothered to try it yet. So far, I'm fairly happy with the single player experience. The AI are butthurts, but when has that ever not been the case?
Worth a look - especially for the 24hr LeMans that you can do in an hour
