Honestly, i really don't think it is. Obviously you want whats best for AA and LFS but it would be a waste of your money in my opinion.
Every game has its day, and LFS has had its. With Assetto Corsa multiplayer out very soon, and a couple of rF2 leagues starting, LFS just won't grow again.
There will always be the good ol' players sticking around in LFS and of course some new ones looking for just messing around, I also think the cruisers and drifters won't be going anywhere. But if you want to race as Sam said, Assetto Corsa's got it in the bag. I've never seen a game with such good graphics run so well.
fatal: it's because you're too much used to LFS. How do you know what feels right, if you didn't drive that same car in the real life? Try setting all additional FFB effects in AC to 0%, that might help for little more LFS-y feel.
