Yep, watched it yesterday as a premiere on RTFR race. Looks promising, however, hosting change is going to give us a bit of pain, but we will manage.

Does it require different hosting type? I didn't even think to look it up truth be told.

Edit: I read up on the post.
Risky move. People may decide not to upgrade to latest versions and rather stay independent. Especially when mods won't be available in demo. And only handful of hosts decide to upgrade

If the price is right (as they say) it may not be that bad but still ario will need to be hosted somewhere.
Not only that's extra cost but also things can lag couple of seconds when airio is connecting from another location.

Yet another software as a service. That's the world we live in nowadays Sad

Guys bad news, Scawen just announced a new version of InSim for handling the car mods.

What this means for us - we do not have the airio source code and we are not going to be able to implement these changes of InSim, so our airio will not be able to support mods.

That's non-breaking tbh. API is versioned:

Also, as I expected (seeing only 6 char long mod ID) they squeezed 6 chars into 3 bytes as a HEX so car names will display as a gibberish since it can have any binary value.

As for sources... I've been meaning to ask, has the "reverse grid" fix worked in the end?

Yes, I saw about raw 3 bytes for the new mods, converted to ASCII it will probably show something, maybe we can even use it somehow, as long as it's not one of the first 10 chars from the table, but as you say, it may have any value, so let's see.

I think that the reverse grid is working great. Jo you have airio source?!
