So it seems that for past years I was racing with 95% throtle/brake
Check your settings. Now (thanks to devs :-)) it's painfully clear to see what is going on there!

Ha! You're lucky! I get between 50-100% in random bursts at random times. The accelerator just won't stay at 100%...

...which is why I haven't been racing for a little while - I think it may be well past time to open the pedals up and give them another strip-down...

lol... Yes. Math would suggest times should drop from 1.8.60 to 1.5.37 but it sadly ain't that straight forward. Setup, if anything, got slower and needs more love... :<
