For the first time ever, the 24h Series by Hankook will run as an international FIA championship, with actual points and actual champions! While the series is mostly for Gentlemen drivers or Pro-Am line-ups, the big events do certainly attract a lot of attention, especially the Dubai 24h which has over 80 entrants. However, it must be noted that due to a very similar class structure as VLN, VLN's future being uncertain due to Nürburgring ownership and the FIA championship status, growth is certainly to be expected, with some good teams being interested in multi-race or even full season programs, so make sure you don't forget about this series!

The Blancpain GT Series is made up of the Blancpain Sprint Series (BSS) and the Blancpain Endurance Series (BES). There is an overall championship, but the individual championships are certainly more important, afterall both of them make up the most competitive GT3 series in the world. Some of the best teams and drivers in sportscar racing race here, and they put on a decent show. Should you miss a race live, they're all uploaded in their entirety on YouTube!

The European Le Mans Series continues to grow and flourish. Right now it's the premier European sports car championship, and while all classes are Pro-Am classes, that doesn't mean there isn't quality, there's a lot of it. For 2015 we can expect a further increase in entries in LMP2 as well as the introduction of the new LMP3 class. GTE and GTC will for sure see decent grids again with less of a Ferrari-biased grid. Great racing, great cars, great tracks!

The FIA World Endurance Championship goes into it's 4th season in 2015, with another manufacturer in LMP1, more LMP2s and the same story in GTE-Pro. Nissan will join Toyota, Porsche and Audi for overall honours while in GTE-Pro it will still be the Porsche-factory supported Manthey Racing squad vs. the AF Corse Ferraris and the now somewhat old Aston Martin Racing Vantages. P2 and GTE-Am will be full of quality teams too, but don't forget that the field is capped to 32 entries overall, and the best LMP2 teams are in ELMS and not WEC.

The World Touring Citroen Championship is set for a boost in entries for coming year, but also some drastic changes which see Macau disappear from the calendar for the first time since the reformation of the series. While this year wasn't really that exciting, there is some decent racing going around in World Touring cars, so you should give it a chance.

If you've never heard of the TCR International Series then I can reassure you that you didn't overlook it, because as of now it hasn't run a race yet. This is a new for 2015 championship started up by the guy who was fired as the head of WTCC (see what's happened here?) and has now decided to create a new set of GT3-inspired (=all cars are performance balanced, rules are quite open) touring car regulations along with a new championship. And it looks like they've took up WTCC's Macau date after they weren't interested in it anymore.

DTM is making some major changes to their event format and sporting regulations for 2015 in order to spice up the racing. While it has a reputation for being somewhat of a snooze fest, the cars are amazingly quick and great to watch, if you don't believe me go look up the race from Zandvoort this year. If they now even manage to make it interesting with having 2 races per meeting and so on, you should take a look at it.

Spanish Grand Prix - 01-03.05.2015
1st - Lorenzo, in great shape all weekend also broke the track record twice, on qual and during the race.
2nd - Marquez (with a broken finger and pumped on painkillers)
3rd - Rossi , according to him ,didn't manage to nail the bike setup =(

Lots of really close racing in this and plenty of accidents ahah. I really need to get into racing GTR's again but I don't have the most time to put in to it.
The Porsche's look so cool and of course, leaders of their class and those Merc SLS.... Man they sound nice!
