Re: AA Vs MRc 2014 - RatRug - 10-01-2014 Mm I know. Re: AA Vs MRc 2014 - meddc - 10-01-2014 I would rather we did our own demo championship tbh. And not just for AA members but for anyone to take part. Re: AA Vs MRc 2014 - viraaj5555 - 10-01-2014 Yeah, indeed, but we'll need some sort of advertising like automated messages? Re: AA Vs MRc 2014 - meddc - 10-01-2014 That's easy and not a reason not to do it. Organising the championship is the bit that requires the thought and effort. Re: AA Vs MRc 2014 - RatRug - 10-01-2014 The only trouble with inviting people outside AA is the limited grid. We could potentially run a 2 grid thing, but that'll mean there is a pre-qualifying period. Advertising will be easy enough as we can also use the LFS forum so people know, as well as server messages. Re: AA Vs MRc 2014 - fnatic - 10-01-2014 Grid limit is the problem, we could solve that with pre-qualification as sam said, but its the question - how many people would be interested in that Re: AA Vs MRc 2014 - joruss - 10-02-2014 I'm quite sure that by 3rd race one quarter of ppl won't show up anyway... Re: AA Vs MRc 2014 - meddc - 10-02-2014 I agree. Let's see if we can get 12 people interested before worrying about having too many Re: AA Vs MRc 2014 - viraaj5555 - 10-02-2014 I'm with meddc, let's see what we have firstĀ Re: AA Vs MRc 2014 - Vim Fuego - 10-02-2014 I was thinking that large fields could be handled with heats, like they do in athletics. It would involve a bit more organisation, and participants would need to keep a close eye on the rankings and grid announcements, but it could work... As you say though; see what happens first... |
