[S2] 2014 Kyoto 250 - 7th Annual - Seven - 03-08-2014 S2 members, You may be interested in Live For Speed NASCAR, from New Dimension Racing here is their 7th Annual Kyoto 250. It basically includes the XRT on KY1, it's not as easy as it might sound but it is rather fun. I did it last year and athough I didn't make it to the race, I still had a good time. Driving in circles doens't sound interesting, but it's the very close racing, the crashes and suspense that makes racing what it is right? I'll be taking part again this year, only under AA colors and my adopted number 49 Post to the LFSForum announcement: https://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?t=85428 I hope we get some interest A few more details, the race takes place on the last Sunday this month (March 30th) at 17:45 UTC. Up to that point there are practice sessions of which you must gain credit for atleast 3 usually every day or few days depending on Deko's work schedule. All you need is an uploaded hotlap within 103% of the WR and over 175 clcoked laps on KY1 (easily done at the practice sessions or in SP / other MP servers). When I'm training, I use the server titled "WW". Re: [S2] 2014 Kyoto 250 - 7th Annual - Energy - 03-08-2014 well, hope have good luck matt oval seems easy but with good pilots its difficult :o Re: [S2] 2014 Kyoto 250 - 7th Annual - Seven - 03-08-2014 Turn 3 is the real pain in the butt, with harsh steering, improper throttle control and a bad line can cause you to drift, really messing tires up for the rest of the race; not to mention the heat peak. Especially when wind is involved >.> Re: [S2] 2014 Kyoto 250 - 7th Annual - Seven - 03-10-2014 Good evening! Just finished the first practice race session for the 250 with the above AA colors Considering it was my first completed race session I am pleased with a 15th place finish out of 20 (an original 30) considering I quali'd second to last having clipped the wall. During the race I also span out twice which was nothing compared to the 6 Safety Car laps we had so I could always regroup and I even had time to pit after a nasty flip but landing back on my wheels. I think from this I can deduce I need to take corners easier and manage my tire temps more, aswell as check those pesky blindspots and Safety Car restarts for the speed boost. Certaily was fun nonetheless however, got a bit boring after 8 laps of no Safety Car () and everyone spread out but then someone in our TeamSpeak channel said "In before the dude 2 places infront of me lag crashes." Sure enough next lap he did and we all got to regroup again. 1 session down. 2 more to go. Bring it on, Kyoto |
