RE: Azyer - GTI Application - Azyer - 08-10-2018

I mean... people aren’t that active on the AA Servers mostly. I have raced a couple times when it has been busy ?

RE: Azyer - GTI Application - Vim Fuego - 08-10-2018

If you start driving there, people will come. It might take a little while, but the key to getting people to the servers is being there in the first place...

And don't worry about the time it's taking for the application to pass. We normally give 2 to 3 weeks for everyone who wants a say to pitch in their two cents. As Seven says, our AS team leader Nova will have some more input and ultimately has the final say, and he knows you're here, so he should be by soon enough.

Yeah, well i mean i need to start driving on ur servers more but it’s just i follow the herd of people

RE: Azyer - GTI Application - Vim Fuego - 08-12-2018

As I said, the trick to attracting people to the servers is simply being there on the server. If you give people an alternative server to one where the competition might be too intense for a novice driver, or where people are waiting for grid slots to open when the server is full, or the myriad other reasons people might want an alternative place to drive, then they will turn up sooner or later...

I had a server sitter on FBM Historic for a while, and over time it became the most popular demo FBM server on LFS, simply because one driver was there all the time. That's really all you need to do to attract drivers and increase awareness of the server.

But just so you know, it's fine to drive anywhere you like - there's no rule that says you have to drive on AA servers - but doing so will slow your progress in the team.

Yeah, i mean i'll try doing that, see what happens

RE: Azyer - GTI Application - AOR Nova - 08-13-2018

Having a few projects in college, will try coming on this week to catch you in mrc/AA/any server to monitor your driving ectra.

Might be the timezone issue too, I only really have around an hour and a half a day(discounting when I'm not home) when any server in demo is active enough to see people - which is around 11pm, and then bed.

Maybe put your timezone here so other team members with matching time can come on to find you. I'm GMT +8.

I'm BST/GMT So.

RE: Azyer - GTI Application - AOR Nova - 08-13-2018

Hello to all it may concern

Just ended short evaluation for Azyer.
Overall I feel he will be a good addition to the team.

He is moderately fast and has good track line knowledge and respect during racing. He's improved his safety rating as well.
However, he is mistake prone and speed can definitely be improved.

Discouragement this is not, drivers learn over time and Azyer I believe with the guidance of our GTi leader Mikke you can definitely be much quicker!

@Vim
Now for further input from others and you/Mik, I give the green light!

RE: Azyer - GTI Application - Vim Fuego - 08-14-2018

Cool - I think it's safe to say that's a thumbs-up for Azyer's application.

I'll get him onto the admin list at the same time that I check Demon's credentials later tonight.

Welcome to the team Azyer! Smile

edit: added to Airio as Limad 0 - everything should be all go, but let me know if you have any problems Azyer Smile
